A step-by-step guide for creators working with Snagbite. It covers finding a local business, getting them to post a deal, making your purchase, and what to post.
This guide provides an overview of the SnagBite creator workflow and general collaboration process. It is intended solely for informational purposes and does not constitute a legally binding agreement or guarantee of compensation. Specific deliverables, deadlines, compensation rates, usage rights, and campaign requirements will be issued individually by the SnagBite team. In the event of any discrepancy between this guide and your campaign agreement, the specific terms of your campaign will take precedence.
SnagBite is a marketplace that connects consumers with local businesses offering discounted food. Partner merchants list surplus inventory, end-of-day specials, and made-to-order items directly on the platform. Customers purchase through the app and pickup their orders in person.
Your mission is simple: experience Snagbite firsthand, pick up a deal, and share your authentic experience with your audience through a Reel and Story. (Please refer to your campaign agreement for specific retention requirements regarding how long your post must remain live.)
Because Snagbite is a brand-new platform, there may not be active listings in your neighborhood quite yet. For our initial launch, you will play a foundational role by introducing one of your favorite local spots to the app so they can list a deal for you to claim.
(As the platform grows and listings become readily available, this step will be phased out, and future creators will simply pick an existing deal directly from the feed.)
Any local place that sells food or everyday items works. Independent, owner-run businesses are the best fit because you can talk to the person who makes the decision.
Keep the introduction short and honest. Here are the points that tend to matter to owners:
Sample introduction"Hi, I'm [your name]. I'm creating sponsored content with a new app called Snagbite. Local shops use it to sell extra food at a discount for pickup. Would you be willing to sign up and post one item at a discount? I'll buy it through the app. Setup takes about 20 minutes on your phone, and snagbite.com/faq answers most questions."
You may introduce Snagbite to a business, but you are not Snagbite's sales agent. You aren't authorized to negotiate commission rates, payout terms, refunds, contracts, tax treatment, or any other terms on Snagbite's behalf. Send the owner to snagbite.com/faq or the Snagbite team for business questions.
Before you buy, ask the store to publish a listing. Snagbite doesn't tell stores how much to discount. The store sets the price it would really use to sell that item at a discount, and that's the price you pay in the app.
Keep it small. A total of $10–15 is completely fine. Ask the store to let you know when the listing is live.
Tell it your way. Your audience follows you for your voice, so keep it natural. The story is about using Snagbite, not about the store. Don't name the business or show anything that identifies it.
Share your real experience in your own style. If Snagbite is compensating you for the content, include a clear sponsorship disclosure such as #ad, Sponsored by Snagbite, or Paid partnership with Snagbite. For video or Stories, make sure the disclosure is visible in the content itself.
Use the platform's paid-partnership label when available.
Once you've picked up, enjoyed your order, and posted, your part is done. Send your Snagbite contact the links to your Reel and Story.
